Home for a Heart

I awoke with a tear on a sorrowful path
An unexplained ache screaming its wrath

Unable to shed the defeat known at the start.
Wicked intentions randomly plays its part

How do you silence voices intent to torture?
Your body guides reveals impending danger

Questions abound for the mystery pain
Knowing your dragons have yet to be slain

Emptiness screams out in troubled garble
Why does the hurt consists only of trouble

Swallow me whole and abandon all hope
No end in site for this unknown foe

Overwhelming sadness which constantly cries
No one to embrace or to cuddle your sighs

Such load roars overtaking my thoughts
Randomly searching for a home for a heart

Lol....not so sure about the "smiled" part....my mind is a scary and dangerous place to be most of the time...and because I never know when a moment will pop up....I have notepads and notebooks...scraps of paper...journals and all....all over the place with random thoughts....lol....I'm glad you enjoyed it so much...that in itself...makes me smile....I have no kids, so my writes are pretty much my babies....thanks for the positive vibes...Cher

Thanks so much for your comments....its so appreciated and I am glad that you enjoyed it....Cher

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
