    This write is something from the past.....What strikes a cord within me is.....its just as RELEVANT now....as it was when I wrote it.... June 26, 2010

    LOVE IN LIMBO....
    Awaiting the phone call just so your heart can breathe
    A colorful assortment of things yet to be
    A look at his face in my portrait of dreams
    Wondering constantly why I can’t be seen
    Standing on the outside always a voyeur
    Grasping at hello to feel a part of his world
    The strength portrayed collapses within
    Wanting so badly to believe in this sin
    Needing constantly a glimpse of love again
    To live and to be loved only to imagine
    Wanting the feel of his body skin against skin
    The need so strong that caution is but a whim
    Starving for the affection and tired of waiting
    Do I believe in the idea of love or is I time to cave in
    I AM SO READY FOR LOVE

    The urge so strong... caution is but a whim
     
    The strength portrayed... collapses within
    Grieving so badly... to believe seems a sin
     
    Needing it constantly... a glimpse of love again
    To love and to be loved... only to imagine
     
    Starving for the affection... and tired of waiting
    Do I believe in the idea of love... or is it time to cave in

    This gives me a better understanding of why men miss the point on the little things in life. We never look for all the dominos of cause an effect. Great piece!

    its funny , i could see my self in ur words (not sure if thats a good thing or bad for either of us), but i really loved how u expressed ur self , "Starving for the affection... and tired of waiting Do I believe in the idea of love... or is it time to cave in" Mami keep holdin on, if its tru and u really beleive its worth waiting for, we cant rush love and emotion, and so patience , they may be feeling it to but too scared to move forward. truly gr8t write! -Bree

    Lol....in my case that would be an absolute NO....I haven't dated or anything since September 2005....I keep telling myself its time to go back out there....but....it just seems like too much work at the moment....besides....I'm too old for the games or drama....maybe one day....Love will find its way to me....until then....I write what I don't or can't say....Thanks again Bree....I so appreciate you taking the time out to stop and share....Cher

    I like it! I fellt your emotions through your words.we have all been down this road once or twice! love is a learning lesson and we have all payed the price lost sleep...lost wages through worry its a time to build and re build good write!

    i enjoy your words. you always have those moments that make me go, "oooh, nice !" / "...caution is but a whim." nice ! the entire poem is filled with tangible emotion. me likes.
