CAN U HEAR ME NOW
No one wants… to walk thru life alone
No one wants… to have a heart with no home
No one wants… to be kicked and unloved
No one wants… to be the person… in place of
No one wants… to cower and be afraid
No one wants… to pay the price... they should've paid
No one wants… to wear hurt suspended in time
No one wants… to be associated with its crime
No one wants… to dance in the folly of rejection
No one wants… to pray for touch n subtle affection
No one wants… to marry anguish n exist to cry
No one wants… to be broken... void of wings... n can't fly
No one wants… to dress and wear a blanket of shame
No one wants… to bathe and marinate in the blame
No one wants… to walk in the shadow... of your shoes
No one wants… to know… if not me… then who
No one wants… to welcome the thoughts of suicide
No one wants… to later stop and realize why
No one wants… to have a revelation of truth
No one wants… to grow with a pain you can't soothe
No one wants… to mirror failure framed on the shelf
No one wants… to question… the power within of self
n... still
No one knows… the constant torment inside
No one knows… the daily battles for pride
No one knows… the damage of your health
No one knows… the emptiness in its wealth
On my knees I cry… and wish I could pray
But the faith that it evokes… escapes me everyday
What I bleed and cry for… is tattooed and ingrained
The tears inside… simply anoint me by name
Alone I stand… Alone I cry…
Alone I paid… Alone I must fly….
