    home with my girl

    flying home on the wings
    of love
    my feet never touch
    the ground
    looking down
    through evening skies
    I soar
    ever forward
    my destination
    in sight
    at last
    I see her
    face smiling
    up at me
    finally home
    with arms wrapped
    around my neck
    she jumps on my back
we run inside like little kids
    we kiss and hug
    with the door wide open
    my honey and me
    It makes everything worth while
    so comfortable
as we cuddle on the couch
    I look at my love
    with a sly smile
    and pounce
