Thinking of you

Thinking of you

even though
we are apart
I carry your
essence with me
like a  tree
rooted in my soul
imagoes of you fill
my mind
like a playful
melody
here in the
summer sand
I wait
one moment
with you
is all I need
to be strong
I feel a breeze
it must be you
joy fills my being
the sun shines on my face
thank you mom
for the Love

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
