    jesus was a man

    jesus was a man
    who struggled like us all
    can't you see
    him standing next to me
    in the shadow of paul
    waiting for us to fall
    he wouldn't catch us
    if he could...
    no one could
    be that good
    to satisfy a god
    so misunderstood...

    jesus was a man
    who struggled like us all
    sin and temptation
    were his downfall
    treated like a god
    but beaten like a man
    nailed to a cross
    for making a stand
    made to feel the pain
    of a man dying in shame...

    jesus was a man
    no god on his side
    left to die
    while his friends hide...
    he was a man
    no one could save
    like all of us
    who misbehave...

    Jesus was more then just a man and no man could ever compare to the love God sent from above to let his son die with the blood gushing from his hands to protect us all from sin and forgive Us. This is definatly a good peice!!!! Keep up the good work!

    very interesting piece that envokes many questions. i would love to hear your ideas! i actually struggle with what to believe all the time i like hearing new perspectives. good write ! ill be back to read more id love for you to check out some of my poems as well if you wouldnt mind

    The poetry is very good, even though I disagree with the content! He is SO much more than a man; He is God himself...the more you seek him the more you understand this...but your rhyme and rhythm are very good, and this is a good, a very good write.

    hey reyjamiei! a good written poem. i can feel the misbelief tha jesus was just a man. however he was GOD ,he was man. the man died on the cross the god part did not. he was before above came down to earth to show us his love . for us as savior

    Jesus is God's son. Two different people there. God sent Jesus to die for us. But they are definatly TWO DIFFERENT PEOPLE AND STRONGER THEN ANY MAN!!!!!
