    The Sun Will Rise

The sun rose again this morning,
Its light shone upon your face.
It brightened our lives without warning,
    Then disappeared without a trace.

    The sun will rise again,
    There’s always another day.
    The sun will rise again,
    And carry you away,

    Through the bluest skies,
Where birds fly around so free.
    Someday the sun will rise,
And bring you back to me.

I’ll just sit and wait for the sun,
I’ll just sit and wait for you, my only one.

Every once in a while I read another's words that remind me of my own. It seems our poems have a similar quality. I wrote a similar poem called "I Will Stand". Without sounding conceited (now that I expressed our similar writing styles) well done!

The sun will rise and another day went by that the lord refuses to let me die. The sun will rise another day filled with meaningless lies and hopeless why's. The Lord only knows why i try. The sun will rise and I am forced to open my eyes. I just wanna say farewell and goodbye without thinking if I pull the trigger that God will send me to hell... The sun again will rise and here I slither amoung this God forsaken earth as every second is worse then before and hoping there will be no more...!!!

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.

    T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
