    Late And Growing

Alex Grey And Jordan De Liso
A Poem of Love for the Vernal Equinox

    Late And Growing

    I captured your soul,
    Sweet photograph,
    In just one take,
    Our union is no accident,
    No mistake,
    In holding hands,
    We both awake,
On this night Cupid wounded me,
    The stars did quake,
Both, we, falling into an amorous lake,
    The radiance of your spirit,
    My own soul to take,
    Sweet friend,
    Bliss like this,
Does not always come when one is baked,
    Did rescued me,
    Outstretched hand of yours,
    I did take,
For in drowning, I did see,
    This love of ours,
    That brings kind hearts,
    Explosions of glee,
Perhaps even a bit, they do,
    Some envy,
They would not if at our worst,
    They could see,
    “Smile” the gods say,
    In this war and malady,
    “Bless the fools”
    “Blessed Be”
    And you did that night,
    With a loving look,
    Open a new page,
    In Faery King’s book,
    We were both enchanted,
    Prince’s propose on bended knee,
    Knocking heads together,
    Who will lead?
    As we both did kneel,
    Please Thor,
    Let us have requited love,
    Let this be,
    Hugs so tight,
    Pain released,
    Healer you,
    Poor man,
    You married me,
And in the heavens, they did sing,
    Hallelujah,
    Prayers of thanks,
    Not just whining,
    Libra in need,
    And how the divine creatures,
    Love to torture me
    Shut up now,
    And count your blessings,
    As others squander,
    In costly nests,
    Their own,
    They keep messing,
    Love interchanges,
    Undulates,
    Intertwines,
And how it wounds the heart,
    Yours and mine,
    Smile of an angel,
    Laughter,
    Happily,
    Toothy and bright,
    You, second to none,
    In my life,
I love you more than husband or wife,
    What does one call it?
When it fits only, in a broken mold,
    My partner,
    My friend,
    Quiet but bold!
    Future by prophets,
    Oft foretold,
    But never did I think,
    Me, in your arms,
    You would hold,
    Magick man,
    Brilliant, loving,
Doing your best to not harm,
    Through peril and strife,
    A River of tears cried,
    For the human plight,
    His greed an old plague,
    A new blight
    As new bankers and corporations,
    Discover anew,
    While taking in the nations,
    That some of humankind,
    Can be bought and sold
    As you and I seek,
    To not let our destiny,
    By others, be controlled,,
History in the making, are we?
    In peaceful gloom,
    With joyful sight,
    Pandora’s box,
Yes, hope in you I see,
    Father Apollo,
    Brother Moon,
    My love for you,
Smitten, Cupid makes me a fool,
Because of that pretty boy bastard,
    I grudgingly love him,
    As I swoon,
Lah, Lah, Lah, Lah, Lah, Lah
    My god’s!
It’s Pee Wee Herman’s face on the moon,
    Love is a fever,
    And in this,
    Though it be serious,
    Let’s face it,
    Though Strong, lasting and tight,
    It makes me a loon,
    Tis not you ever,
    But a world,
    That knows how,
    Yet refuses to fly,
    Flying to a new height,
    The gods did send you,
    Yes,
    We can help the world,
    Fight the good fight,
    As Indigo banners fly,
    Once unfurled,
    Under those wonderful curl’s,
    What magick does hide?
    Always take care, my love,
    Great friend of mine,
To love all with compassionate heart,
To start with yourself, is a very good start,
    Sometimes from a lifeboat,
With bags of money to weigh them down,
    Rich men are hurled,
While a fisherman for year’s unseen,
    Invisible that is,
    Until the fish stains stink,
    Until there is need,
    For people to think,
As they rise up against poison tides,
    On the winds of change,
    This poet’s ride,
    With the god’s approving wink,
With talent and simple love, you see,
    No longer is it possible,
For other’s us, not to find,
    God’s bless the Indigo child
    Heal the world,
    Far and wide,
Teach them to awaken and fly,
Indeed, some souls polluted by life,
    Careful though,
    Not all understand,
Some just think with the lower chakras,
    Those pesky glands,
    Some do not care,
    Even when they know,
Tis a waste of your time,
    Using your creative drive,
    To cast your pearls,
    Before growing heard’s of swine,
    Pig farmers of the world,
For the way you are maligned,
    From the heart I apologize,
Someone must watch over the government,
    And who better than you,
    Swine with head in sand,
Like the bird that can’t fly,
Because someone told then they couldn’t,
    Some just stand in life,
    Just existing on the side,
Like those folks who would deny,
    People like us,
    This union of agony,
    Is our right!
    Sometimes bliss,
    A wedding forged in love,
    Amorous steel,
Bless you for your compassion and your patience,
    For my own maturity,
    Was oh, so latent….

    Namaste,
    The Faery King

interesting and meaningful, deeply thought, my verdict it's a wonder. Ride on, mate. Drop in if you have a chance in my territory and rate my works too. Okay? I just posted a couple of poems this week - "Visualization" & "The Red Beast".

Poetry is what is lost in translation.
