Liberation

Liberation

Rage my children,
Laughing at doom,
From womb to cold tomb,
Shake your fists against despair and gloom,

Rise up, stand your ground, stand tall,
With spiritual pride one never falls,
Show your ovaries
Show some balls,

Make yourselves known,
As the monkey in a cage,
The coop has to be flown,
Others bear witness to what is shown,

With beauty, art, dance, science…. create,
Self-deliverance, yourselves….. emancipate.
Let all-consuming liberation, free of chains,
Be your natural state, liberate!

May your love be patient and hearted kind,
Within your spirit,
Be divinity,
Be divine!

I love this! It's free and strong! Keep this up! VEry nice.

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
