    Like the Wind

    I am nothing.
    I am no one.
    I come and go
    like the wind.

    I am
    ever becoming
    and ever dissolving,
    ever silent;
     stays the same.

    You cannot
    know me
    because
    you are me.
    Your breath
    is my breath.
    Your cause
    is my cause.

    We meet
    on this great circle
    of life
    only to say
    hello
    and goodbye.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
