Sacred life

Walk with me awhile,
I will tell you my secrets,
my hearts deepest yearning.

I feel the pain
of the world
and hold it in my heart.

The helpless bug is caught in the sink
about to be pulled down.
I lift him out and send him on his way.

The little children bring me joy
and fill my heart
to bursting.

I find in every moment, a sacred life
whispering it's secrets,
if I will but listen.

If I will but listen
I find a paradise revealing itself to me

Thank you for your kind words

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
