    Poem Commentary

    I've raised Wolves. They are wonderful gentle animals, loyal more than most family and friends. I'm an honorable Apache and Navajo Indian in Arizona and New Mexico. I love every nationality of people, respect most of their ways, if honorable and peaceful. And I resect animals rights to live where they are natural.

    LONE WOLF / NATIVE SON

     The fire has all but gone out of your golden eyes
    As your hollow howls reach up to the blackened skies
    They have taken this great land from the Indian too
    Who holds the deep respect and honor for you.

    They rape and they tear and they build and they say
    This will all be better for us all one fine day
    As they construct and destroy, so far North will you go
    Until the cease of land and food and you die in the snow.

    Native Son, they have taken all that you have
    Put on reservations and told that's too bad
    Lone wolf, you will be on a reservation too
    A reservation the educated man calls a Zoo.

    Lone wolf sing your lonesome mournful song
    Soon on this Earth you will no longer belong
    Native Son say goodbye to lone wolf your friend
    As your freedom did, his too shall come to an end.

    Our ancestors dance around the fire .. chanting loud and brave in the background of this purging work. Native Sons and the Lone Wolf's howl will live on! Excellent writing skill .. brilliant to say the least! SBear

    Thanks SBear. I just open my mind and say "God write", He gives me my words. I'm thankful for His gift. I did raise Wolves. We have one left at 14 yrs old. I think I put her picture on Apache Girl? Thanks. I'm having some trouble with my computer. I don't have my search engines above or my wait, I think it's fixed it'self??????     I agree completely. I had a chance at a 2 yr old free wolf, she was to old to accept me. I was sad as mine kivatu was murdered after Kiva my hybread was stolen and killed on L.A. freeway after jumping from the vehicles window to excape the I believe Mexicans who stole her. I lived in little Mexico is why I say Mexicans, as I was gone only 5-10 minutes. Thanks,,,songmanpoet,,,Sam

    Wow, this poem is really over the top and I honestly say that. The pictoral and the rape of a people comes before my eyes again and I shudder and am angry that these things came to pass. I shudder because what went on then was undescribably blatant terror in the raw. What is worse, if I may, is that it seems to be the way all over today........ah.........I cannot go on because my eyes are filled and my heart is wrenched and may God change the course of what man is doing here on earth.........

    Mamasan. I agree. It's an awful thing we are doing to Gods planet and heavens. I raised wolves and they are loyal noble animals, kind and gentle. God says if Jesus does not return, "Man SHALL destroy himself". In 1985 I said from the Bible, the wall in Germany would come down, a untied Europe and a single currency. When that happened I was terrified the world was over. I also in the 1980's predicted an economic collapse, I was called as fool by many. This did not suprise me. My ex-wife divorced me on my Birthday, she was athiest/ communist and I loved her before I knew this. She had to ask me what to say for grounds for the divorce. I am happily engaged to the sweetest Philippino girl. I'm putting her through nursing school to get her here to me. Pray I receive my P.T.S.D. pay from what our U.S. Army did to me, ok?
