    Missing You

    Just thinking about it
    Bring tears to my eyes.

    I'm still trying to realize,
It's not you at my door.
    You're not here anymore.

With a joke, and a smile
    And your ghetto style.

    BANG, BANG, BANG

    It's all I hear
    It plays like a nightmare.

    Me holding your hand, and
    Saying we got to go
    As you slip away slow.

Ashes to ashes, dust to dust
God needed you more than us.

    We may be apart,
But your memory still lives on in our hearts.

Thank God for the beautiful memories... Very touching and beautiful tribute poem to your loved one... God Bless, Mary

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
