    My Girl

I was young when we first met
I needed no one I was set

When I first kissed you I thought
    I was going to die

I didn't want to share you
    With no other guy

    People would tell me
    You was bad news

    I rufuse

    So what I was skinny
    And my face sunk in

    The pipe was my friend

So what I look dusty, and
    People didn't trust me

    I understood her
    She understood me

    Why can't people see
    Just let us be

I asked her to marry me
    She said yes

    My pipe is the best

My mouth no I didn't have a stroke
Me, and my pipe like to smoke

It's okay you burn my lip
    Baby don't trip

    Come to think of it
    She let me down

    There was no one around

The pipe was my best friend
    How did it end

    Our last kiss
    This ain't no joke

    She slip, and broke....
    DAMN

This poem is really a GREAT read ..... how the poem is really telling a story. I really liked this. Enjoyed reading this as well. Great job

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
