Mother Nature

Mother Nature

Withering leaves plummet to the bottomless pit of no return

A thunderous roar unveils its tears amongst a cold heart gone array

Solace to be found on a sparkling jewel as far as the eye can see

Inhabit my darkness with a smile that shines intensely beautiful

Breathe inside my soul with only a sigh of relief

Now I go into the confines of my existence a better man

Very nice. Not sure anyone reads these comments because I'm new but this is the best one I've read on this site so far.

Thanks! I'm so humbled by your comment. I do wish to explore the art you have created also. One Love.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
