Nature's Voice
Dancing daffodilsWaving in time
To the sweet music
Of the whispering wind
Moaning aspens
Lending melody
To babbling brook
And buzzing bees
Singing songbirds
Joining orchestra
Thumping wings
To Nature's beat
Grazing elk
Trumpeting bugles
Echoing resoundingly
From silent rocks...
Splashing salmon
Jumping waterfall
Caught in mid-air
By grizzly's teeth
Screaming eagle
Soaring heights
Searching the meadow
For quaking mouse
-\\--\\-
Chainsaw sputters
Tranquility broken
As unnatural sound
Drowns Nature's voice...
Silence lingers...
Deafening quiet...
Who killed the music
Of God's creation?
