    Poem Commentary

Just speaking the Truth from what I see

    New Years Resolution

Why is it every year the year about to change people feel they can do

the same attending watch night service hoping instead of praying that

things don't be the same. Knowing like I know they will always have a

name seat filler. Holidays they attend to make there family smile.

Does saying I been to church make you proud? What have you learned? Do

you spread the word to your friends? So what makes you think your

change has begun. Why because you look in your closet and suits are

hung. That shouldn't be the reason, don't do it unless it's something

you know you can do. That's not my new years resolution because I know

playing with God is no joke nor game. So I work strive hard for

success and show the world that I'm truly blessed.

For truly talent and memory shall go hand in hand to dance among the prism of earth and heaven conjoined. Wonderful Author and Poet Todd Christopher McKinney

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.
