    Pull Me Down, Push Me Up

    I need to move, I need to breathe

    shake the things that pull on me

    hold me down, slow me down.

    I need to run, I need to fly

    let go of the things that I

    just cant try to be anymore.

    Maybe I need to just

    open up my eyes so I can see

    what's always been there

    right in front of me.

    Roads, which one will

    I take in this world so open?

    This world so wide open,

    I’m marked;

    scared

    from your affection.

    Every day is an open page

    a brand new start,

    a fresh clean slate

    that gives me room to breathe.

    now it's up to me

    find my best and lose my worst.

    I know I need to make my mistakes

    and leave them in the past,

    as it’s been told to me too many times;

    in my lifetime.

    I will make the most of what I have.
