Reflecting Promises
All the hues of the rainbow,
So florescent aft’ the rains,
Emit a lasting afterglow,
Reflecting promises God maintains.
The beauty is spread to His flowers,
Blooming according to season,
Nurtured by sunshine and showers,
Plucked by God with holy reason.
We are the children He’s planted,
Bearing all colors of skin,
Eyes being round or slanted,
All must die to have life begin.
Marvel each rainbow above,
See the complexity of a flower,
Find comfort in God’s love,
Through time til our final hour.
Eternal life awaits,
For those who choose God’s ways,
When passing through Heaven’s gates,
We will bow down to sing praise.
We are placed here on Earth,
By reasons yet unknown,
He loves us before birth,
In His timing, we will be shown.
Enjoy life to the fullest,
Follow a humble plan,
Know your family is blessed,
This God promised when life began.

...just as Christ was raised from the dead through
the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.
