    My Wish

    Birthdays come and birthdays go
    Leaving the aura of candle glow;

    You get one wish, one wish to make
    While gazing upon your birthday cake;

    My wish for you is a life that’s blessed
    With all that’s good, with all that’s best.

    c. November 20, 2008

    With long life will I satisfy him,
    and show him my salvation.
    Psalm 91:16

    Thanks for the Hallmark moment! hehehe! wOOt!

    When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
