    Regret

So now you have walked away,

    No words left to say,

I feel so much regret in my heart,

It is hard for me to think we are apart,

Every time the phone rings I think it is you,

Do you ever do this to,

Not a day goes by I don’t wish I could change the past,

Make the time we spent together last,

    Stop myself from hurting you,

Prevent the heartache we went through,

Even though I still love you so,

I have to let you go,

You want me to be gone,

All I can do now is move on.

I think regret is a learning motion. With regret we grow as human beings so that in the future we don't make the same mistakes. I think it can also be an emotion that if we don't learn to leave in the past we can become enslaved to. * I love this poem, it has a sad yet soft melody. Almost like a song.

So much harm can be done by words. no they can't break bones, but a heart break lends much more pain, wounds that never really heal. Wish you peace and that this is only a poem.

Very touching surely this will resonate with many. To love is never in vain; even if it ends in pain; for love is a good thing...even when it ends it's knowledge and lessons we gain. Peace, Love and Light

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.
