Serenity
LIFE HAS PASSED ME BY
ONE DAY TOO MANY
TIME TO GRAB LIFE AND
HOLD ONTO THE REINS
HAVE THE RIDE OF MY LIFE.
A CHILD AT HEART
TRAPPED IN AN EVER
AGING BODY
NO ONE TO TURN TO
NO WHERE TO GO
TIME IS SHORT
LIFE IS WAITING
THE DOOR HAS OPENED
AND NOW I JUST
HAVE TO GO THROUGH IT
A CRACK IN THE WALL
SURROUNDING THE CRYSTAL
ENCASED HEART OF A
GIRL WHO HAS LOCKED HER
LOVE AWAY
AWAY FROM PAIN
AND HURT FOR FEAR
THAT IT WILL BREAK
CRUMBLE FALL
TO ASHES
A HEART IS NOT THE
PHEONIX THAT CAN
RISE FROM ASHES
IT DOES NOT RETURN
FROM THE GREAT BEYOND
THERE IS NO RETURN
ONLY FEAR AND DREAD
LONGING FOR FREEDOM
FOR SERENITY
WHERE IS THAT
NO WHERE.
