Silence
Silent as the night wind blows and the snowy white peace covers allTake care to tread lightly though as danger lurks not far behind
Shh now don't make a sound for the rain will come and spoil all
When will the time come for all to be again as it was
Should I wait and follow the steady wind that plays with my hair
Should I follow the swirling storm that whispers in my ear
Either one will hold the future but which one holds mine
My voice calls upon the wind only to drown in the silence
Step onto the thresh hold and call to me my answer
I await it with an eager mind to find my way
Trapped in a world that is not apart of me I feel the pain
It courses through my veins as black as the moonless night
Screaming out loud I can only hear it in my head
The thump thump of my empty heart beats against my chest
I close my eyes just to see what I can not
I mask my face and put the rest in my pocket
I hold on the the hope that slithers away when I turn my head
Come to find it wrapped around my throat as it starts to squeeze
Numb and lost I seek out the light of renewal
I am banished to walk alone in this sea of bodies
