    Society

She gets out of bed and stares in the mirror
Applies thick black eyeliner to mask her fear
Fear of rejection, of not fitting in
A constant struggle she'll never win.
She doesn't like the life she lives.
Hell she doesn't even like who she is
But she wont change her ways
Cause that's how society is these days.
He wakes up from a restless sleep
Rids his mind of thoughts too deep
Cause guys these day can't show emotion
Got their heads filled with this crazy notion
That if they cry it makes them weak
Instead sex is what they should seek
He's become just one of the crowd
Because he won't speak his mind out loud
Society these days, isn't what is used to be
Everyone chooses what they choose to see.
Act this way or your not cool
Speak your mind and your a fool.
Having your own opinion is wack
Uniqueness is what kids these day lack
But society says this is how its gonna be
Until we cut these chains and set ourselves free.
