    There's No Place Like Home

This is the house where I live
This is where the exterior feels cozy and welcoming, but the interior is often a mess.
This is where a 16-year-old resides, hating his life and, like the unused weight room, full of distress.
This is where anger and hostility, unlike the newly renovated attic, are nothing new.
And you can hear the sinks in the two bathrooms leaking water, and a spoiled 4-year-old girl looking for something to do.
And see a husband and wife struggle to raise a happy family, complete with an overwhelmed 14-year-old daughter and unhappy 10 year old son.
And feel the five bedrooms that make up this house are often missing and in need of fun.
No, I don't believe there's no place like home

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
