    The Promise

     God he'll smile upon you
    And your troubles just wash away
    Your spirit will take wings
    You'll be in Heaven that day.

    See the light in the window
    See your home in the sky
    See the power and the glory
    And never will we cry.

    Even though you will die, I know not the day
    God will be there with you, to wash the pain away.
