    Nevermore

      She says I love you
    but she doesn't care
    She says I need you
    but she's never there.

    No dreams will she give you
    only anguish and fears
    She stills your spirit
    with unrelenting tears.

    Void of the love most call dear
    an empty vessal nothing to cheer
    Lonely and sinking deeper you go
    There is no salvation increaseingly low.

    Cry for the forgotten
    thrown to the shore
    Prey for meek
    to return nevermore.

    In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.
