True Love Prevails
Pray Death come not slowly be painless with haste
My heart lies here dying my will soon erased
What victories are there in the wars fought and won
When as soon as ones ended another’s begun
Still I rise to the challenge as the gauntlets re-thrown
Giving thanks to the Gods for the mercy they’ve shown
Driven by passion still blind in my youth
Believing in dreams as if they were proof
I’m seeking my true love, a white knight indeed
With conscience to guide him and courage to lead
I’ll search till I find him or go to my grave
Without him I suffer an empty hearts slave
Let Death be forewarned lest the Gods be unkind
Take my life if you choose but my heart stays behind
Only Heaven can say where loves destiny lies
If my fate is to find him my spirit will rise
No obstacle stands that will cause me to fail
When a heart seeks true love it will always prevail
