Your Litte Girl
I'm three years old, looking up at you
Reaching to be in your arms
For every time you held me, my love grew
God's gift of a barrier from harms
I'm six years old and we're at the zoo
Your watching me conquer that tree
I was growing so fast, you already knew
Yet, still allowing me to be free
I'm eight years old, and in the 2nd grade play
Your face stands out in the crowd
I want to make you happy in the best possible way
So here's to you daddy, I'll make you proud!
I'm 12 years old and I've figured life out
Stay away, this has become my fight
I love you's and hugs have turned to shouts
Angry tears on my pillow tonight
I'm 15 years old, gleaming in my prom dress
And your eyes pour love back in my world
Daddy I hope you know, I'm only your princess
And I'll always be...your little girl
