    Poem Commentary

    This poem is about a recent terrible heartbreak I went through. This is the beginning of my closure. :)

    Unforgetable Times

    I heard your voice
    It didn't sound the same
    It's haunting me
    Keeping me awake
    You listened to me cry
    For the first and last time
    Now I'm standing lost
    Which way is right?

    Our plans are gone
    And replaced with air
    You never loved me
    And you still don't care
    Your ways don't match up
    With my heart that flies
    Just like Heaven above
    Sees beyond the night

    I don't hear from you
    These darkening days
    Because with a kiss to her
    You tossed me away
    So you'll see me tonight
    I'll be showing the signs
    Then you'll watch me forget
    Unforgetable times

    Your poems tract the "stages" and the lessons of growing up [which can be painful at times]. If only we can all write the struggles of the years away... A charming little piece.

    I completely understand how you feel...Im sure all teenage girls our age have had unforgettable times like that... Very good poem, had a very nice flow. Keep up the good work!
