    Poem Commentary

    Was feeling depressed the day I wrote this, kind of sad and numb and hopeless at once.  I remember writing this in a coffee shop....glad that day is over!

    A Bad Day

     Dark looming clouds
    Internal thunder
    Barometric catastrophe
    Presses on my psyche
    Churning tornado of inexplicable
    Yes, just inexplicable
    No words
    Only feelings
    Trying to fit the square peg
    Into the circular hole
    Keep trying
    Keep failing
    Frustration darkens
    Any illumination
    And I am going to hide
    From all that's inside
    But where?
    Where else do I go?
    Anxiety! Anxiety!
    Can't get out, can't go in
    Feeling so tumultuous
    Cyclonic activity in my ego
    A great storm is brewing
    Dragging me under
    Sinking in the mood
    Can't think, can't breathe
    Today feels sad
    Today is not glad

    I love your word description in this poem I wanted to hear more at the end. the thought that I was coming up with in my head is that the gloomy days end on this page, we all have them I myself some days are made a slave to them sometimes even effecting your lifestyle. Keep writing I believe in time things will change for you.

    Thank you for your feedback, its much appreciated! And things have changed very much, I wrote this quite awhile ago, most of the things that I posted that are a bit dark are from times past. Some are newer, "Shark" is one, but overall I play in the positive!
