When day turns to nightAnd looming shadows grow
When the wages of sin (in the world) begin to show
Be still and know... that He is God
When all around vile rivers flow
Of battles raging to and fro
Be still and know... that He is God
When death is sought more than life
A desperate escape from fear and strife
When godlessness grows and godliness goes
Be still and know... that He is God
When doubt sets in
And naysayers rise
And truth is abandoned for Satan's lies
When faith and hope's at an all-time low
Be still and know... that He is God
Rest in God's promise concerning His own
He said He would never leave us alone
No matter what comes, or how life may go
Be still and know... that He is God.
