THAT DAY (c) Copyright 2002

We stand, watching, waiting
Praying for that day
The day our Saviour comes again
And takes us all away

Where never again a tear will fall
His own will hear the Master's call
That day

All our cares will be left behind
Eternal joy and peace we'll find
Beautiful harmony of all mankind
On that day

Troubles of life are remembered no more
When we reach that distant shore
And enter in at heaven's door
One day

Come along and go with me
To the place the Spirit leads
Like eagles soar, we'll freely be
That day.

I'm so excited about that day. I know that we will spend eternity praising his name so when I imagine that, I am overwhelmed by what heaven will sound like. Hundreds of dialects singing "Holy". Great descriptive piece.

This is exactly what I was talking about when I commented on “Nature’s Romance”… a carefully sculpted vision. When you have respect for the image you’re aiming to articulate, it shows, and it’s appreciated. I’ve got another favorite channel on OP.COM TV.

Very well written. I love the content, it is very tender, very sweet. I strive for the opportunity to be a part of "that day", to feel free and not remember troubles of this life :)) Thank you for sharing!

Thanks, Chris, glad you liked it!
