    BLIND...

Laughing are their voices for I know my own name
their words strike deep giving life  to the pain
Hardly any memories , voices but no faces
are all that I can see
Dark as pitch, black as night
never a sunrise within my sight
     Gentle breezes with fluid grace
the use of hands to see thier face
Every day I carry on step by step
    to my own song
Cursing this prison my eyes of no vision
frustration of the loss yet finding strength
    within the cross
Walking stick at my side, will unbroken
    I walk with pride....

Such strong image! I image a war scene, where friends try to stick by each others sides despite the hidden enemy's traps... am I right?

Poetry is what gets lost in translation.
