    • I have been very ill. But I'm back.

    Blushing Urges of a Teen

    Blushing Urges of a Teen

    Taronis -- 04

I saw your exquisite sun tanned flesh

    Dripping, shivering, after your splash

I saw you walk and shake less sodden

Oh the image stays with me unforgotten

I saw your long and subtle limbs

As you shaved them soft and pink

Then you saw me and quietly smiled

Soap and lake water in a flirting trickle

As you smiled I did not go

By your smile you invited my attention

Lurid urges I had back then

Watching your hair in that summer wind

Though we never spoke that day

You knew what I thought and would not say

I dared not stand in your full view

Tight drawn shorts wet with dew

It took me days to speak your name

It took me hours my loins to tame

But I took that step in an August rain

And spoke to you just the same

ta, The subject matter is alluring. The fact the man gets up his courage to finally approach the woman is gallant. Chivalry is not dead! A 10+ from me. I have 2 posts that are a similar genre to this poem if you care to read them :" Be With Me" and"Touch." ginga

Thix is a lyrical jewel. Rhyming scheme is perfect. Musicality and imagery exquisitely sustained by effectively chosen monosyllabic words which breathes sincerity of admiration and adoration throughout the entire poem. Rating 10+

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
