CHOICES
CHOICES
By
Clarence Marsh
In my life I have faced many trials and tribulations
I was told as a child I would die
I asked my family what to do and they said pray
I turned to my faith and received a blessing
I was spared when others gave up hope and perished
I kept my faith
Many obstacles stood before me…
But with my faith we conquered them together
Life is about choices
We can choose to believe or not believe in faith
But when faced with death
We all seem to fall on bended knee and ask for forgiveness
Or why me!
Many years later I am still here, not because I am better then you
But because I believed in my faith and never gave up
When you wake up every morning do you say thank you
Or just take for granted another day will come?
I say thank you every day and pray for another
Because no one is promised tomorrow
When faced with choices there is no need to make them alone
Take a minute in your own private space and make a choice
Will I believe in fate or faith?
