    Dear God

    Dear God

    I’ve been disappointed, again.
    I’ve been beaten up, again.
    I’ve been lied to, again.
    I’ve found that I cannot trust others, again.
    And I am unable to trust him, again.
    My heart hurts. My head’s numb.
    Back in the box cause he thinks I’m dumb.
    My promise is to you, no doubt
    I won’t ever be coming out
    Till you say it’s ok, and this ones lasting
    So anyone else needs to stop asking.
    Lettuces don’t talk. Now shut up, and rot

    Your poem was a very interesting read. The rhyming was good and the theme was interesting. I could add more but I don't want to offend with any of my thoughts. just encourage you to keep writing as this caused me to think very hard.

    If we wait for God to do it then we will rot.. free will is what God gave us and if we don't use it then we fail not Him/Her/It whatever form we put in... God is only in ones mind can confine us to that box to rot or get us out to live. I hope ya find your self and soul....
