    I Saw the Lord Today

    I saw the Lord 2 day

    He said I had got in the way

    He said youse a setter

    Hey gal wasz the matter

    I sent you a moon and a sleigh

     

    He sent me a dragon in flight

    Who fell on his "butt" and caught "lite"

    It was streakin' blue and wore blue suede shoes

    It had a weird song and a kite

     
    Weeks later I thought it would die

    But low and behold it still flies

    The kite's all a tatter

    But hey it don't matter

    I'm tied to its tail

    And it's HIGH


    I saw the Lord 2 day

    And he's still my friend so he say

    The dragon protects ya

    The shoes they reflects ya

    And yes you'll be married some day


    I saw the Lord 2 day
