The Light In You 7/5/56

When the road gets dark

I look for the light

In you

When I lose my way

I ask God to shine

Your smile

When my heart sinks low

I reach up to feel

Your touch

When I must know why

I remember that I am

In love

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
