Death of Z Actor

  • If I speak in the tongues of men and angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a tinkling symbol. And if I have prophecy and know all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And if I dole out all my goods, and if I deliver my body that I may boast but have not love, nothing I am profited. Love is long suffering, love is kind, it is not jealous, love does not boast, it is not inflated. It is not discourt

Death of Z Actor

Lights, camera, actions
Closed captioned for the tearing in mirror tractions
The attraction, the recluse disaster exposed black
Models fall to the bottom at the end of runways
Where airplanes take off
Breaking angel wings with knuckle blade flashes
Silver umbrellas,
There is a velvet pillow attached to lipstick crashes
The district attorney lynched
Within a flashback of make-up tactics

Spinning circles
Cracked an earthquake to pieces
Distract me
My melting magazine dripping beige and blonde
Attractive like blue eye-attacks contacts exposed
Glasses removed
Cry in the corners of cracks
Where the black grass ants border their queens

Plastic bleeds to the insides
Loyal bride to the royal king
Vain so plane the diamonds sing
To the beats of rain-drops

Plot out my breath until death do us part
The shopping cart accident
A bent back severed head
Pointing towards the stars

Hearts behind bars
Serving 13 life sentences
All explained within one sentence
blending with the barb wire fences
Forever in prison living with sins poison presence

My ink toys of trance send the artistic message
to Heaven
Strings as muscles pulled by judges.

I am a murderer
A compulsive shephard of wolves
Trapped in their skin tight ribcage
She made me this way, she made me this way
I say aloud in my cell of decay

An accident, more like a coincadence
of pre-written events of fate
Fatal understanding crashing tasteless with faith
He made me this way
My make full of grace

The last chapter
Captured frames of revelations
Lights, Camera, Action
I play my part
Make myself believe I am what they say I am
An Oscar-nominee actor
A track star running scared
Lost far within the pages of dim.

I agree with soulwriter this has a wonderful street lingo flavor which I believe would only benefit from being read out loud. The line I say aloud in my cell of decay also stands out for me. This is well written and very lyrical.

Wow, my friend, this is certainly different than some of the other works I've read of yours. I like the structured presentation. It gives the poem a certain cadence yet still has your signature of Pollockness to it. Where do you come up with this stuff? What motivates you and how are you able to stay focused. I find myself constantly looking back at prior stanzas as I read through your poems. I am always checking and rechecking the title to see if there is some deeper message being conveyed, than appears. You have a unique style Richie and, again, although I am not always able to follow your train of thought, I find myself drawn into your work. It's almost like it forces the reader to self-evaluate while, at the same time, they try to make sense of the poem. Again, that is not a bad thing. I like your style. Thanks for the share.... K

This has a street lingo flavor begging to be read aloud - loudly spoken to express your self tokens and what I hear is "I say aloud in my cell of decay". Well written with thought provoking attitude. Write on Write ON!

With all words considered, and line to line infusion, there's no confusion for me. 10

very dark i see some of your poems are very very deep.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
