    Depression Hurts

     Depression hurts
    And no, pills cant help
    Its like muzzling a dog
    So it dosent yelp

    Sitting them down
    And saying: you are fine
    Is a sucky mantra
    While their heart and brain grind

    The heart's crying blood
    The mind's pulling up its hood
    We want them to just smile
    And they really wish they could

    But a smile needs light
    And near them there is none
    For in depression's sheer hole
    You can't see the sun

    So we peer down by the edge
    Shivering from the chilled air
    Frigid air with a rotting stench
    From those who died and didnt care.

    i feel you " if everyone cared and nobody cried/ if everyone loved and nobody died" well then it'd be better but humanity has stopped caring its problems are to be seen and not heard.
