"DUST OF FAITH"
“DUST OF FAITH”
(Call to action on climate change)
Change is inevitable
In human, conception happens
So, life begins, a part of change
One may reach adulthood
Others just died
In his mother’s womb
Change happens so fast
Everywhere, anywhere
The world over
Change affects all living things
Our environment, the weather
And the way we live
Recently, multitude Asians
Are battered with storms
Earthquake, tsunami and the likes
So sudden big change has come
Overhauling one’s life
I am one of the thousands
The savage storm brought forth
Heavy rains, strong winds
Flash floods, landslides, falling trees
Wrecked homes, damaged crops
Drowned humans and animals
Deaths, panics and cries of pains
A phenomenon not seen
A hundred years past
Unlucky, I am still alive
My possession destroyed
My entire family dies
I do not know where to start
I was left with
A distorted body, a ravaged soul
And a dust of faith
A dust of faith
Enough to give me hope
To endure living
A dust of faith
Enough to love myself
To see life in a positive light
A dust of faith
I dearly hold
God you own my life
A dust of faith
Enough to believe
That God will not forsake us
A dust of faith
To believe that God will touch
Men in government, the community
To act now and in unison
To avert disaster
Climate change changes life
