I am so saddened
I as an eye witness
Of so many
Human sufferings

 
Men and women
Of all colors
So troubled
With unhappiness

Walking in life
Without tenderness
Running high in anxiety
Speeding
To meet deadlines
Working double time

Pressures are growing
At home or at work
Burdened with worries
As bills are due
Debts doubled up

With empty heart
Veins flow
With  loneliness blood

Hugging friends
 With snobbish apathy
Overflowing with selfish envy
Fractured by distrust
Erosion of confidence
Is so fast

We can be happy
We can live in peace
 

Seek for the truth
Listen to the voice
Of our God
Obey His commandments
Ask for His mercy

Pray
Demonstrate
Your gratitude
Give thanks to Thee
Sing songs of praises

Be humble
Not scornfully proud
Be patient
Not irritably displeased

Be happy
For what you are
Be thankful
For what you have
Aim high and help hard
So that you and others
Will advance

Clear your conscience
Step not in others’ foot
Be at peace
With your heart

Remember
If God is with us
We will triumph
Over evil
Dark power
Will not overcome us
Black magic
Cannot swindle us
No one
Can go against us

With God
We will live in peace
Happiness
Will reign in our heart
God
Should be the first
In our life
