    FATE AND DESTINY
    Life has many twists and turns,
    And our destiny is decided by the path we take.
    So let's not go through life filled with regrets.

    For the path we have chosen
    IS the path we were meant to take,
    As Fate and Destiny are intertwined,
    And Cannot be changed.

    So with each new day
    Rejoice for the gifts given !
    And Marvel at the Wonders
    That each new day brings !

    Dave- when I first started to read your poem, honestly I thought to myself- Maddi, here's another one of those 'simply stated' poems.. but actually, when I got to the second stanza- I paused, and then- reread it.. wow. Yes this is a simple piece, no doubt there- but the meaning is so complex- and so wise that I found myself lighting a smoke, and kicking back to contemplate your words (and isnt that Dave, what poetry is all about?)-For the path we have chosen IS the path we were meant to take, As Fate and Destiny are intertwined, And Cannot be changed. So often we question our decisions- even silently scold our sub-conscience, for our choices. Your poem gives us permission to breathe- permission to live, and love.. that's powerful, this poem is 'real'- and I love that.- Maddi
