Looking Ahead - Not Back
Life has not always been good to me,
I've had my ups and downs
And quite often it seems as if,
The bad times Greatly outnumbered the good.
But today I can truly say,
That I have a Good Life.
The demons of my past
Have been defeated at long last,
And my Spirit has been strengthened
Fasr Stronger than I could ever have believed,
And My Heart has been filled with Love.
I now awaken each morning
With a new sense of Hope in my Heart,
And a Happiness in my Soul
That is beyond description.
No longer do I look back,
For the Past is over
And the present is filled with happiness,
And when I look Forward
It's with the Greatest of Joy,
In anticipation of the Wonders
Of The Coming Day ...
