    I awake

    The stone on my grave
    Getting crackled by the day
    Crackles slowly
    Shatters only on the day
    My strength I regain
    My strength I regain

The earth that's right above me
    Getting thinner by the year
    Dwindles slowly
    Dwindles slowly till the day
    When I will be free
    When I will be free

    Eons sailing by
On the dawdling waves of time
    I am waiting
I am waiting for the day
    That brings me to life
    That brings me to life.

"I am waiting,/ I am waiiting for the day/That brings me to life. This poem , espresses only too well the inevitability of the end of life. The poet leaves us to speculative that the mood of thid poem, is fatalistic or it may be morbid or it may be an exprresson of resignation or an expression of hope in an afterlife, I prefer to dwell on howi its faultless craftmanship strongly conveys a reflective and melancholic pathos,as well as the sombrenes of the poem. My rating is 10.

Very ethereal and cosmic. I think this is great! (and you didn't get writer's cramp)

Thank you! (Lengthy poems are not my cup of tea)

I see what you mean now friend--very nice poem-- i like the concepts of life and how they're portrayed-- true...

Poetry is what gets lost in translation.
