    Scarred

    Of all the beauties in the World
    The one that I adore
    To me, is like a deity-girl,
    A muse, but only more.

    I do not hope it means to you
    Something enough to care,
    But settle for the pleasant view
    And think it only fair;

    However long my path will be
    Across the maze of time,
    I'll bear the mark you've left on me
    And say: it's only fine.

    This little piece relates to the traditional ballad genre. Its a perfect poettic gem. Its muscality is exquisite. This little ballad can be easily set to music and sung to the acompaniment of a guitar or accordian , without any alteration. I actually sang it! ................................................lol If Sleece, cannot play a guitar., I suggst that he should get one and learn to play it. He is a natural with the ballad form of poetry. Write on, Sleeve! My rating is 10++

    Your style is really lovely, I enjoy the flow of your poetry and the pictures you paint with it. Very well done. Thank you for sharing.

    Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
