The lone wheat

    The lone wheat

    Amidst an endless field

    Of bent and damaged crops

Stands out a thin, green wheat

    Alive and full of hopes.

    May storm come,

    May frost come,

    Alive and full of hopes.

For rain and sun she lives,

The warmth, the scent, the shine,

    The wind of summer eves

    Ever reaching higher.

    May storm come,

    May frost come,

    Ever reaching higher.

    Sky above, earth below,

    The tainted all around,

She is but on her own

    Yet every day's survived.

    May storm come,

    May frost come,

    Yet every day's survived.

Wow, very nice Sleeves..such strong imagery portraying Hope and encouragement in every climate this life's journey can assail upon us... Great Picture as well, kind of eluding to planting strong survivable seeds of encouragement and the right kind of flexibility and adaptability that can adjust but not change like a chameleon or hypocrite but stay true to creations design and purpose to reach fulfillment and the promised rewards faithfulness and endurance carries..using nature to tell the story of endurance and fortitude, faith and steadfast Hope...brillant..thank you sleeves...a fav and a 10 for me..."SpiritSong"

Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.
