If we would see...

If we would see...

And so, my phantasmal friends,
how went your slice of infinity,
this day of human starts and ends?

My friends, who in deathless rest,
and ever ceaseless consciousness,
did you see we had done our best?

If we could see this universe as seen
by you from its beginning to its end,
in a single eye, all it’s meant to mean,

then like you, slicing time into quanta,
strung like pearls on a unbroken string,
and never lose its immensity and vista.

Could be like you, a part of everything,
the ebb, the flow, that divine knowing
and know this brief life is so easygoing.
