    “LET THE MOON INTO YOUR HEART”

     

     

     

    Mr. Moon  swinging high in the sky

    Bright and full this night

    Pondering, many are satisfied.

     

    The beautiful soft light

    Enchanting moods, he spells upon mankind

    Seeking lovers in his sight.

     

    The young and old enjoyed his bright face

    Wondering is there a man in the moon

    What does he know?

     

     Smiling he says, “I don’t know

    Time will tell all I know.”

    With much delight he proudly glows.

     

    When things are calm with time to spare

    Wisdom he will share

    Quietly he spends love thru the atmosphere...

    Yet another delicate and captivating piece! Brenda, you are going SERIOUSLY overlooked and underrated on this site. I think I sense a spot of the Celts in this one. And the wisdom comes by many modes - moon, Earth, sun, stars, planets, oneself, etc. A very...lunar...write!!

    thank you stardrift, i appreciate your comments and compliments very much. yes the moon , stars, sun, and so much of the universe man doesn't understand, but the information of how all this affects our very being is out there for those who want to be informed. i wil drop two more of poems in, hope you find them interesting also. where is some more of your work dear friend?
